What is this whatsoever?
This is a so-called "comfort module", that gives new convenience and security functions to the vehicle's factory default functions. The OCM modul connects to the factory diagnostic connector (OBD II), there is no need for cabling or complex mounting. By removing the module from the OBD connector, the car's original functions are restored, in other words, the module does not make any modifications to the car. The "additional knowledge" can be used or handed over to another car with the same model and engine type.
The OCM module is for the following Opel / Vauxhall models:
- Astra H
- Zafira B
- Vectra C
- Signum
The additional functions shows the potential hidden in your car, that was not thought by the Manufacturer, or those were introduced in newer cars.
